  Having been here 7 times now, the last time we went (This weekend) The service and food was horrendous. My Husband's steak was full of fat and veins, he sent it back and out came a new piece, along with the rest of the rump and it was Freezing cold. It was the second course we had to complain about, as the prawns in our Tortellini starter were hard as small fishy rocks. They didn't apologise or offer an alternative meal so we won't be coming back. 7 visits and we always buy a great bottle of wine ($300-$500) repeat custom should be valued, but we felt shunned for complaining. When your meal is over $800 including your wine, you expect good food and good service, not the utter tosh that we were given. I am so disappointed, and will be eating elsewhere from now on! Terrible, just terrible! Felt like we were being penalised for the fact that we were understandably disappointed in the disgusting food that we were served.

  Their chargrilled selection is generous, with a wide selection and most of the time cooked to perfection. Other items in the menu also very nice (but the experience with fish didn't meet my expectations). Another star at the restaurant is the bread. No other restaurant in Perth has such bread. Keep it up!

  Nice quiet venue with friendly staff but the meals are over the top with prices. Ordered the $125 steak that we could have ordered at a pub for $25 and it was just the steak on the plate with a piece of lemon. What a joke. Thats on the never to go there again list.

  Rockpool is impressive from the start. Beautiful lighting, modern furniture. Helpful and sincere staff. As many reviewers have already said, the bread and butter sets the tone. A very long list of drinks is fun but in the end the recommended Italian sour was pretty good. My partner and I shared a raw fish tasting plate - subtle flavours and some fish I have never eaten before. We then ordered the $60 fillet and $129 sirloin just to compare with each other. Both were amazing but the depth of flavours in the sirloin is why it's so expensive. The deserts were very good. Thanks for a fun night out!!

  They also have a bar menu in another section of the restaurant. Their hamburger is very nice! The only thing I will review at the bar menu are the sides.
